About the Fund:
The Small Planet Fund was founded by Frances Moore Lappé and Anna Lappé to support courageous movements bringing to life citizen-led solutions to hunger, poverty, and environmental devastation. Since 2002, we have raised nearly $750,000 through our volunteer-led efforts and our annual party. Along with our core grantees, we offer emergency grants to cutting edge organizations in the U.S. and overseas addressing the root causes of hunger.
