Frances Moore Lappé meets inspired consciousness-raising musician Matt Jenson (Rebel Tumbao, Berklee College of Music piano faculty) for two nights of insightful and soul-awakening responses to the pressing social, political, economic, and environmental issues of our times at the Davis Square Theater (255 Elm St, Somerville, MA) on May 17th and May 18th, 2013.
Join us for two nights of ground-breaking concerts where the Liquid Revolution reggae band will perform songs from their new album Dragonfly Taxi, while opening up musical spaces throughout each of two sets (per night) for Frances to recite from her latest book, “EcoMind: Changing the Way We Think to Create the World We Want.”
In addition there will be a pre-show reception (8-9pm) to join Frances, Matt and the Small Planet Institute crew in celebrating the paperback release of Frances’ latest book “EcoMind: Changing the Way We Think, to Create the World We Want” (Nation Books) and the release of the EcoMind inspired single “Believing is Seeing,” a funky, Latin Funk, Rap song written by Matt. Books and CD’s will be available for purchase (cash or check only) and all proceeds will go to the Small Planet Institute.
