Discussion Days, a Manchester College tradition, engages students in critical thinking and debate forums beyond the classroom. They explore controversial issues of social, political and cultural importance as an academic community. This year, Discussion Days focuses on the role food plays in our culture and our relationships, the ethics of food production and distribution, and alternative food lifestyles.
“Ideas have power, so we work to reframe limiting ideas - of scarcity, power, and democracy -
to free citizens to create living democracies, turning our planet toward life.”
