• International Institute of Social Studies' Hunger, Food & (Agroecological) Alternatives Colloquium (2011): Frances spoke before an international group of agroecology scholars at the ISS Colloquium at The Hague, Netherlands.
• Right Livelihood Award 30th Anniversary Conference (2010): Frances spoke before other laureates from around the world in Bonn, Germany during a week of discussion and debate on global challenges;
• Nobel Conference at Gustavus Adolphus College (2010): Frances speaks about “what makes food good” during a weeklong summit that covers a wide variety of food issues. Other speakers include Marion Nestle, Cary Fowler, and Bina Agarwal;
• Weissman Center’s Food Lecture Series at Mount Holyoke College (2010): Anna discussed the connection between the climate crisis and one’s food choices. Past speakers include Peter Singer and Temple Grandin;
• Food & Climate Summit at NYU (2009): Anna emceed the opening ceremonies with the Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer;
• Brooklyn Food Conference (2009): Anna delivered the closing keynote for this 3,000+ community event focused on the borough’s emergent food justice activism;
